Taageer Finance Company is an Omani non-banking finance company, set up in 2000 in Muscat to offer financial and leasing services. Taageer’s services include both retail and corporate financing. The retail segment deals in car finance and consumer loans, while the corporate services include equipment financing, factoring, bridge financing, construction loans and vehicle finance. It is licensed by the Central Bank of Oman. Besides the headquarters, the company has five branches in the cities of Hatat, Sohar, Nizwa, Salalah and Barka. It became publicly traded in 2005.
