Mifinanciera S.A. is a financial corporation located in Panama. It was founded in September 1998 as MiBanco S.A. (BMF) with the aim of providing support and solutions to entrepreneurs, micro and small business owners in Panama who were not trusted or supported by other financial institutions. In 2012, after reviewing their strategic plan, Mifinanciera S.A. made the decision to transform their business model from a microfinance bank to a financial corporation. This new model allows the company to be more competitive in their market segment, enabling the growth of their operations and the introduction of new products and services for the benefit of their customers.
