Concesionaria Interoceanica Sur Tramo 2 S.A., has to main objectiveaward the construction and rehabilitation of a total of 2603 kilometers of roads linking the Amazonian state of Acre in Brazil with the port cities of Ilo, Matarani and San Juan de Marcona on the coast southern Peru. The grant has a duration of 25 years and associated companies are funded by the Peruvian government to operate and maintain the roads after construction. In June 2005, section 2 was awarded to the Consortium Dealer Interoceanic, formed by the companies Odebrecht-G y M Consultores ( Brazil) , Grana and MOntero andJJC e Ingenieros Civiles (Peru).
