Consorcio Industrial de Arequipa - CIDASA, began operating in September 1966, with toiletries and rectification of alcohol. In the following years, the company implemented the Soap Plant and the Plant for Plastics and was listed on the Lima Stock Exchange in 1995. CIDASA, specializes in the manufacture and marketing of toiletries as colonies, vaseline, hair tonics, hand creams and lotions, also manufactures soaps and plastic containers. The company exports mainly go to Colombia (41.9%), Venezuela (33.4%) and Bolivia (11.7%).
