Corporacion del Mar, was founded in 1993, being jointly controlled by Austral Group and Pesquera Exalmar. Cormar, is principally engaged in the capture of various aquatic species, for processing into fishmeal and fish oil, marketed primarily in foreign markets. The Company has five plants processing fish meal and oil along the Peruvian coast, which are located in the towns of Tambo Mora, Casma, Chicama, Paita and Callao, which is average installed capacity of 50 metric tons per hour each. It also has 13 vessels, whose total storage capacity of 4.769 metric tons.
