Telefónica Multimedia S.A.C. started operation on September 1993 under the name Cable Magico, offering 20 channels to the districts of San Isidro, Miraflores, Monterrico, Magdalena, San José, La Molina y San Borja. Now a day it covers all Peru thru its satellite TV service. On 2000 it started offering broad band internet to the districts of Lima and Arequipa.
