Sual Power Inc (Philippines)

Sual Power Inc (SPI) is a Philippine power generation company and a subsidiary of San Miguel Global Power Holdings Corporation. The company serves as the independent power producer administrator and, following the conclusion of the original build-operate-transfer arrangement, the operator of the Sual Power Station in Sual, Pangasinan. The Sual Power Station is a large coal-fired thermal power plant with an installed capacity of around 1,000 to 1,200 megawatts, making it one of the largest baseload coal facilities in the Philippines. Sual Power Inc's activities encompass the administration and commercial dispatch of the plant's output, fuel supply management, operations and maintenance oversight, and the structuring and management of long-term and short-term power supply agreements with distribution utilities, electric cooperatives, and retail electricity suppliers within the Luzon grid.
