It is engaged in trading of different kinds of Halal meat including goat, cow, chicken and fish, both for local and export sales through chain of retail stores. The company was formed by amalgamation of two local firms named Al Shaheer Corporation and MeatOne. In 2015 the company went publicly traded. Besides catering to the local market, Al Shaheer Corporation Limited exports to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and the UAE.
