Pakistan Refinery Limited was incorporated in Pakistan as a public limited company in May 1960 in order to serve as hydro skimming refinery designed to process various imported and local crude oil. The capacity of the refinery is 47,000 barrels per day of crude oil which are turned into a variety of distilled petroleum products such as furnace oil, high speed diesel, kerosene oil, jet fuel and ,motor gasoline etc. The company is not only engaged in refining and production but also in selling the ready products locally except for naphtha which is exported.
