KGHM is one of the world's largest producers of electrolytic copper and silver. KGHM also produces, among others gold, lead, sulfuric acid and salt. Copper is produced mainly in the form of refined copper, copper rod and billets of round and is mainly used in the construction sector, electrical and electronic equipment and in the transportation industry. The main recipients of Polish copper are Germany, France, the Czech Republic and China. Silver is sold in the form of ingots or granules and is used for jewellery, electronics and is applied in the electrical industry. KGHM is the second-largest producer of refined silver in the world, main customers are the United Kingdom, Germany and Belgium.
