Kobylarnia S.A. (Poland)

Kobylarnia S.A. is a company with a long-standing tradition in the field of road engineering. It was established in 1992 as a result of the transformation of the Public Roads Department in Szubin, Poland. In 1998, the company became an employee-owned company called Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Dróg i Mostów Spółka z o. o. w Kobylarni. In 2010, MIRBUD S.A. acquired a stake in PBDiM Sp. z o.o. based in Kobylarnia. In January 2011, MIRBUD S.A. became the majority shareholder with 52.1% of the votes at the shareholders' meeting. As a result, PBDiM Sp. z o.o. joined the MIRBUD Capital Group. A few months later, an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders decided to transform PBDiM Sp. z o.o. into Przedsiębiorstwo Budowy Dróg i Mostów Kobylarnia S.A. In October 2011, the District Court in Bydgoszcz registered the transformation of the subsidiary company, making Kobylarnia S.A. a joint-stock company.
