Lubawa S.A. was formed in 1951. It specializes in the production of army equipment and webbing gear. It also makes tourist and safety equipment. Lubawa manufactures army tents, bullet-proof and shrapnel-proof vests, tarps, outdoor gear and high-rise safety gear. Its products meet stringent technological standards backed by tests performed by institutions which issue appropriate certificates. In 2006 Lubawa purchased MILAGRO-Powlekarnia, which makes rescue equipment, rubber boats and tents as well as specialized contamination suits.
