Polish National Bank (NBP) is the central bank of the Polish Republic The bank. carries out the tasks, based on the Constitution, the Act on Polish National Bank and the Banking Act. NBP has three main functions: issuing bank, the bank of banks and central state bank. The main task of NBP is to maintain price stability. According to the prepared by the Monetary Policy Monetary Policy Strategy document after 2003, one of the main objectives of NBP is to stabilize inflation at 2.5 percent.
