The company was established in the middle of 70-s. In 1997 the company was privatized. Pfleiderer Prospan SA is a modern manufacturer of furniture board, worktops and veneer, and as a result of the investment program executed during the 1996–1999 period and the introduction of “conti” - “continuous pressing” - technology, the production capacities of the company has increased and currently amount to over 690,000 m³ annually.
