Gdańsk University of Technology, founded in 1904, is one of the oldest autonomous state universities in Poland and the oldest in the present territory of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It includes 9 faculties where approximately 18,000 students study in engineering and master programs in a full-time and part-time system [3]. The university employs approximately 2,600 people, including approximately 1,200 academic teachers.
