Politechnika Wrocławska, located in Wroclaw, was established in 1945 with the help of scientific staff from the now-defunct Politechnika Lwowska and the University of Jan Kazimierz in Lviv. They repurposed the destroyed buildings of the German Technische Hochschule. Today, Politechnika Wrocławska continues the tradition of these prestigious Polish universities and collaborates closely with leading companies in Lower Silesia.
