Scanmed S.A. is the core operating company of the Scanmed medical group, one of the leaders among private medical operators in Poland in terms of the range and geographic coverage of services provided. Following its acquisition by American Heart of Poland, which is backed by Italian group Gruppo San Donato, Scanmed is positioned as an integrated part of a larger cardiovascular-focused healthcare group, with strategic emphasis on coordinated care, expansion of its hospital and outpatient footprint, and further consolidation through acquisitions of regional medical operators. The company's positioning combines strong regional brands of individual hospitals with the Scanmed group umbrella, targeting comprehensive, quality-oriented medical care within a broad national network.
