Przedsiebiorstwo Handlowe Alfa Elektro Sp. z o.o. is a company located in Katowice, Poland. It was incorporated on October 23, 1989, as a Civil Partnership under the name Przedsiębiorstwo Handlowe "ALFA". The company initially engaged in various unrelated industries, including wholesale electric stores, an RTV product store, two meat stores, and wholesale and retail sales of bicycles and paints. Over time, the company specialized in wholesale sales of electrical products such as bulbs, cables, and advanced products. This specialization led to the establishment of two new companies: Nobiles-Alfa Sp. z o.o. and P.H. Alfa Elektro Sp. z o.o. In 1996, P.H. Alfa Elektro Sp. z o.o. joined the French capital group Sonepar, becoming a minority shareholder. The company experienced a significant breakthrough when Sonepar Polska acquired 80% of its shares. Currently, Sonepar owns 100% of Alfa Elektro.
