Standard Chartered Global Business Services Sp. z o.o. is the Warsaw based global business services centre of Standard Chartered, a leading international banking group. Operational since 2018, the centre is the group's first Global Business Services location in Europe and forms part of a network of hubs in Asia and other regions, supporting the bank's operations in more than seventy markets. Its mandate is to provide a broad range of middle and back office services and centres of excellence for the bank, including operations, technology and engineering, finance, human resources, risk management, compliance, legal support, analytics and other global functions, with a particular focus on servicing businesses and clients in Europe and the Americas. Located in a modern office complex in Warsaw, the company employs a large and growing team of highly skilled professionals and specialists who work closely with business units across the group to standardise, digitise and optimise processes. The Warsaw GBS centre is integrated with Standard Chartered's regional EU hub and contributes to the bank's “Here for good” strategy by enabling efficient cross border banking, supporting regulatory and risk frameworks, and driving innovation in digital and data driven solutions.
