Volkswagen Poznan has been present on the Polish market for more than 15 years. The company was established in 1993 as a joint venture of Volkswagen AG and Tarpan Poznan. In 1996, Volkswagen Poznan became in 100% a daughter company of the Volkswagen AG concern, and one year later the part of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles make. At present, company's factory is, besides the Hanover factory, the second largest factory of the concern, producing the commercial vehicles. The production facilities of our company are located in three locations. In Poznan, Antoninek quarter, we have the car body construction division, assembly division and paint shop, while in Wilda quarter our casting plant is located. In Swarzedz near Poznan we have facilities where production of welded assemblies, assembly of cockpits and production of special car bodies are performed. In Swarzedz our Logistics and Suppliers Centres are also located.
