Carrefour Polska belongs to the French chain of hypermarkets and supermarkets, which is a leader of large distribution in Europe and number two in the world. The first hypermarket Carrefour Polska was launched in November 1997 in Lodz. A year later, the first product was introduced in a series of Carrefour Quality. Carrefour currently developing three retail formats: hypermarkets, Carrefour Market supermarkets and franchise stores. In addition, customers can use developed network of gas stations placed close to the Carrefour stores.
