Liberty Communications of Puerto Rico LLC (d/b/a Liberty Puerto Rico) is a telecommunications services provider offering broadband internet, VoIP telephone, cable television, and wireless mobile services across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company is headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and operates its network island-wide. It is wholly owned by Liberty Latin America, a Bermuda-based public telecom conglomerate that spun off from Liberty Global in December 2017 and later acquired full ownership following a 2018 transaction. Founded in 1999—succeeding TCI Cable—it consolidated several local cable operators (OneLink, Choice TV) under the Liberty brand by 2013. Liberty Puerto Rico’s key offerings include fiber broadband, 5G mobile (post-AT&T acquisition 2020), digital television bundles, and enterprise/business connectivity solutions.
