Golden Wheat Mills Company P.L.C. is a public joint stock company located in the village of Barham, in the Ramallah Governorate. It was established in 1995 with a capital and capacity of 7 million Jordanian dinars, which has since been increased to 15 million Jordanian dinars. The company's facilities, machinery, and equipment are considered the most modern in the Middle East, with imported machinery from Switzerland known for its high technology and expertise in designing grinding machines. The production capacity of these machines is about 300 tons per day, allowing the company to meet a large percentage of the local market's needs. In 2008, the production capacity was further increased to 450 tons per day.
