Palestine Investment Bank was set up in 1994 in Gaza by a group of Arab and Palestinian bankers in order to provide banking, commercial and investment services. Currently, it is headquartered in Ramallah. The retail banking services include current and saving accounts, loans and financing, credit cards and bills settlement. The commercial services cover letters of credit, bank guarantees and money transfers. Also, the bank, through its treasury and investment division, invests in local and foreign securities, manages portfolios, and trades in currencies. It has eight branches in Palestine’s major cities.
