Palestine Securities Exchange, "Palestine Exchange" established in 1995 as a private shareholding, to begin the first session of trading on February 18, 1997. In early February of 2010 was a significant development in the march of the market and its transformation into a public shareholding company in response to the rules of good governance and transparency. In September 2010 the market launched a new institutional identity to become "Palestine Exchange" brand taken from "Palestine opportunity" slogan.Stock Market is working under the supervision of the Palestinian capital market, according to the Securities Law No. (12) for the year 2004. And seeks to regulate the stock exchange trading in the securities through a package of laws and regulations that provide the foundations of modern protection and safe handling.
