Aegon Pensii - Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii is a Romanian company part of the Aegon international group. The company started its activity on the Romanian market in 2007 and was known by the name BT Aegon Fond de Pensii SA - in partnership with Banca Transilvania Group. In 2009 Aegon buys a 50% stake, representing Banca Transilvania's stake in the pension fund management company, thus Aegon Pensii becomes fully owned by the Aegon Group. The Aegon Group is headquartered in Hague, the Netherlands, and operates in over 20 countries on four continents.
