Aeroportul Caransebes SA, operator of Banat Airport Caransebeș, is partnering with Germany’s Evia Aero GmbH to develop a cross-border sustainable aviation project through their joint venture, Banat Evia Energy SRL. This first-of-its-kind initiative in Eastern Europe will create infrastructure for generating, storing, and distributing green energy to power aircraft and ground support equipment at airports.
