Blue Air-Airline Management Solutions SRL is a Romanian privately-held airline management company which was formerly known as Blue Air Transport Aerian SA, changing its name in 2013. The company started operations in 2004 with its main base at Henri Coanda International Airport - Bucharest's main airport. The company is registered in the Trade Register under no. J40/5103/2013 and is the owner of the BlueAir brand through which it provides passenger and cargo air transportation services, operating both domestic and international flights. Blue Air - Airline Management Solutions SRL has regional hubs in Bucharest, Bacau, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Iasi, Larnaca, Liverpool and Turin. Currently, Blue Air operates 28 Boeing 737 aircraft series 737-300, 737-400, 737-500, 737-700 and 737-800 with a capacity between 120 and 189 seats. In 2015 Blue Air exceeded for the first time the number of 2 million passengers transported in one year, and in the summer of 2017 it announced the firm order of twelve Boeing 737 MAX 8.
