BT Capital Partners SA (formerly known as BT Securities SA) is a joint stock company, resulted in February 1999 from the merger of three Securities Broker companies in Cluj-Napoca, namely: Strim SA (the acquiring company, established in 1994), Stock Invest SA and Dax SA. The company resulting from the merger was called Transilvania Capital Invest SA, and in 1999 Banca Transilvania owned a total of 10.41% of the share capital of this company. Today Banca Transilvania owns 98.7% from the share capital of the company. In 2003 company name is changed to BT Securities SA. The company currently has 19 agencies.
