Compa SA, is a Romanian company, incorporated in 1969 after the merger of two companies Automecanica Plant Sibiu and Elastic Plant Sibiu, as a new economic entity Intreprinderea de Piese Auto Sibiu (IPAS). In 1991 the company becomes a private entity under the name of SC COMPA SA. The company’s main activities are manufacture of parts and accessories for vehicles and their engines, design and manufacture of industrial equipment, molds and tools. The company specializes mainly in components for injection systems, central housing, nozzle ring and rollers for turbochargers, steering gears and components, stamping parts, mechanically welded assemblies, components for air conditioning installations, industrial equipment. Compa products are assembled on cars like BMW, Mercedes, Peugeot, Renault, Audi, Ford, Fiat, Citroen and Kia. Compa SA was among the first companies with Romanian capital, present in the top 100 exporters in Romania.
