Depomures SA is a major energy player in Romania, working in gas gain. Depomures is the second operator of the underground storage of natural gas in Romania. The company was founded in 2002. In 2005, the commissioning of three new wells injection / extraction, storage capacity of the landfill Tg.Mures increase to 300 million cubic meters of natural gas. in 2007 Depomures becomes majority shareholder of Gaz de France, following a sale process that Gaz de France has acquired 59% stake in Depomures. in July 2008 following the merger of Gaz de France and SUEZ group was created global energy leader GDF SUEZ.
