Company Eco-Rom Pack SA operates on the Romanian market since 2003, is an organization founded by industry and acts as an interface to a public interest mission: to protect the environment by achieving the observance of the recovery and recycling of packaging waste. Today, now more than 2,200 companies in Romania receive the package recovery and recycling targets for packaging placed on the national market. Since 2009, as a result of investment by Eco-Rom packaging, over 5 million people in 240 cities in Romania have access to infrastructure for selective collection of packaging waste.
