Enet SA (Romania)

The thermic energy plant was founded in 1970 as an Area Thermic Energy subsidiary of the former Wood Processing plant in Focsani. In june 1984 it was transformed into a CET - Thermic Electrical Plant and put under the administration of FRE Focsani. SC ENET SA FOCŞANI was set up by the splitting of RENEL in February 1996 according to Government Decision 95/1995. It is a private capital company of the Focsani Local Municipality, which is its sole shareholder. In October 2001, SC ENET SA FOCŞANI took over the Thermic energy distribution activity from the local CUP RA Focşani,according to a Focsani Municipality Decision.
