In 1994 it established the company Guzu Chim Prod Com SRL. In 2006, Swedish investment fund Oresa Ventures buys 49% stake in Chim Guzu and begin the process of re-branding of the company under the new name of Fabryo Corporation. Fabryo Corporation reached in 2009, the market leader in decorative paints and varnishes industry in Romania. On 19 September 2012, shareholders Fabryo Corporation and Atlas Corporation announced that they have reached an agreement on the merger of building materials operations of the two companies. The transaction has received the approval from the Competition Council in early 2013. Following completion of the merger, the main shareholders of Atlas Paints remain Fabryo-Swedish investment company and Chroma Oresa Ventures Holdings, a company owned by Greek businessman John Sitinas.
