In 1999 the privatisation process has been finalized and Famos SA became 100% private company. A year later, Famos SA became the majority owner of Foros SA. Gathering a centuries-old carpentry tradition from the region with modern technologies, currently Famos SA is one of the most significant furniture manufacturers in Eastern Europe.
