In 1994, Henkel launched its business operations in Romania. Starting January 1, 2007 the construction materials producer Henkel Bautechnik Romania and the consumable producer Henkel Romania merged. The merger consisted in Henkel Bautechnik România SRL absorbing Henkel România SRL. Since its establishment in Romania, Henkel launched on the Romanian market a significant number of international portfolio Henkel brands like: Persil, Pur, Rex, Perwoll, Silan, Perwoll, Clin, Bref, Somat – detergents. Fa, Palette, Taft, Gliss, Schauma Syoss Perfect Mousse - cosmetics; Ceres Thomsit, Moment, Super Attak, Loctite, Bonderite and Teroson - adhesives and technologies.
