Michelin Group started activity in Romania in 2001. Michelin plant in Floresti has a tradition of 70 years in the production of tires for cars and vans. It was acquired in 2001 by the Michelin Group, then applying quality standards and production Michelin. The company produces tires for the replacement market tourism, brands Michelin, BF Goodrich, Kormoran, Kleber which are exported to Europe, North America and Asia. Today, Michelin Romania owns three factories and trading network. Michelin Romania produces various types and brands of tires, new tires marketed through a national distribution network, export tires and steel cord in Europe and North America.
