ThyssenKrupp Bilstein Compa S.A. was founded in Sibiu in 1996 as a joint venture between the Romanian and German company. ThyssenKrupp Bilstein Compa manufactures twintube shock absorbers for famous European automotive manufacturer, for example Jaguar, BMW and Daimler, as well as for the Romanian market, for example Dacia, Daewoo, Aro. They produce components for shock absorbers for cars and off-road-vehicles also in a scope of 2.600 ranges.
