URB Rulmenti Suceava SA (Romania)

Urb Rulmenti Suceava SA company operates on the Romanian market since 1989 but starting from 1990 is a Joint Stock Company, having 100% private capital. The main activity of the company is Manufacture of bearings, gears, gearing and drive elements, the company operating mostly in Suceava county. The plant covers a total area of 167,000 sq meters, from which 54,000 sq meters represent production floor space. The company owns all production facilities for manufacturing bearing components (rings, balls, rollers, cages, shields) and for bearings assembling. URB Rulmenti Suceava is the only bearing producer in Romania having the facilities to manufacture bearing rings both from bars and tubes. The designing of bearings, manufacturing technologies and tools is performed in the URB Suceava Design & Development Department. The company has also its own tool shop and maintenance workshop. The bearings marked URB are widely used in cars and trucks, electric motors and compressors, walking excavators and rolling mills, agricultural machines, cutting machines, paper manufacturing equipments, speed reducers, and wood working equipments.
