"Chitaenergosbyt" was formed during the reorganization of Chitaenergo. In 2006 Chitaenergosbyt received the status of a guaranteed supplier of electricity at the Trans-Baikal Territory. The term "guaranteed supplier" is defined by the new rules of functioning of the retail electricity market. Areas of guaranteeing suppliers in each region established a regional authority on the basis of the existing regional service areas designated by guaranteeing suppliers. In the service area of ​​the company includes almost the entire territory of the Trans-Baikal region. In the Chita Supply Company organized seven-district offices. The company employs more than 700 people on a regular basis, 45% of which have a higher education. Chitaenergosbyt mission is to ensure the realization of the rights of any bona fide customer in a particular area for reliable and uninterrupted supply of electricity, an amount corresponding to its needs.
