In Russia, the official representative of Grundfos was opened in Moscow in 1992, and in 1998 was established the main subsidiary - Grundfos OOO. Pumps are produced in manufacturing plants, located in Brazil, China, Russia, Denmark, France, Germany, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK and USA. The company also develops and manufactures electric motors and high-tech electronic equipment to make the pumps "intelligent". Grundfos OOO today is a Russian company with 100% foreign capital. On the Russian market, it is among the most well-known foreign companies manufacturing pumps and pumping equipment. Representative plants are an undertaking operations in 26 Russian cities. In 2005, in Istra region, Grundfos opened its own production - first part of the production plant Grundfos Istra. In 2011 the second part of Grundfos Istra plant was opened.
