In 71 years of its existence the Mednogorsk Electrotechnical Plant "Uralelectro" has gone from the Tula arms factory evacuated to Mednogorsk during the war to a large enterprise for the production of electrical products. "Uralelectro", as a manufacturer of asynchronous electric motors, is rightfully one of the leading Russian enterprises, which confirms the 21 millionth electric motor, which came off the assembly line of the plant in October 2007
