The company was co-founded in 1981, by Ahmed Bin Hamad Al-Said in the Kingdom. In 1994, Kingdom Holding Co. led by its Chairman, H.R.H. Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz, took control of Panda United stake in the company and became actively involved in planning the young company’s growth. Finally, in 1998, Al Azizia Panda United was incorporated with the Savola Group headed by its Chairman, Eng. Adel Fakeh. Since then, Herfy has been operating in partnership with the Savola Group. In 2008, Herfy Food Services Company, Ltd. has become a closed joint stock company. In Addition to Saudi Arabia, HFS has operations in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
