Saudi International Petrochemical Company (also known as Sipchem) was established on December 22nd 1999. The company provides a wide range of high-quality petrochemicals: carbon monoxide methanol, tetrahydrofuran, butanediol, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, vinyl acetate monomer. In 2006 Sipchem build a huge complex of three factories: a factory for acetic acid (460 000 MTPA), a factory for carbon monoxide (345 000 MTPA) and a factory for vinyl acetate monomers (330 000 MTPA). Sipchem provides services for the following industries as well: constructions, coatings, solvents and automotive industries.
