The company manages turnkey projects for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors and project owners from planning and design of heavy lifting and haulage requirements to the execution stage in which the heavy equipment are transported, lifted and installed at clients' facilities. Tiong Woon operates in four business segments: Heavy Lift and Haulage specializes in providing services in Heavy Lift and Haulage, Marine Transportation and Inland Transportation for its clients in the oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure and construction sectors; Marine transportation provides crane barges for heavy lift operations, Offshore Ballastable Barges, high performance tugboats and anchor handling tugs (AHTs) used in sea transportation projects; Trading distributes new and used equipment such as crawler cranes, mobile cranes including truck, all terrain and rough terrain cranes and tower cranes; and Engineering Services is engaged in construction of berths and jetties, dredging and reclamation of coastal land, revetments and barricades, pipe laying and ancillary civil engineering work. The company was founded in 1978 formerly known as Tiong Woon Crane and Transport Co.
