Slovenia-based road construction company DARS d.d. was founded by the Republic of Slovenia in December, 1993. In January the following year, the state transferred the management of all existing motorways, as well as relevant infrastructure to DARS d.d.
The company operated as a public enterprise until 2004 when it was transformed into a joint-stock company.
DARS d.d. is mainly engaged in construction, rehabilitation, maintenance and managing of motorways.
