Slovenian Sovereign Holding (SSH) is a fully state-owned company located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was established to manage the state's capital investments in a concentrated, transparent, professional, and independent manner. SSH has the largest portfolio of state capital assets in Slovenia and manages the state's ownership interests in over 50 companies. The company's portfolio covers various industries, with a focus on energy, finance, traffic, transport and infrastructure, general economic sector, and tourism. Since the end of 2012, SSH has been actively managing capital assets held by SSH and the Republic of Slovenia, as well as running privatization processes, settling state liabilities, and denationalization. In addition, SSH acquired two new business activities, claims management, and the management of immovable and movable assets, through the acquisition of the Bad Asset Management Company (BAMC) in 2022. SSH also exercises the powers and obligations previously carried out by Slovenska odškodninska družba (SOD) related to the settlement of liabilities and manages the assets of BAMC.
