AVC Rakova, a.s. company is a Slovak manufacturef of gears, geared shafts, assembly units and components for automotive industry, construction and agricultural machines. Company was established in 1944 under the name ADLO as a manufacturer of car pumps. From the year 1952 to 1992 the company worked as a subsidiary of Czechoslovak corporation TATRA Koprivnice, manufacturer of passenger cars and trucks. In May 1992 the company was privatized and became a private joint-stock company.
