Agromacaj A.S. is a large family owned agricultural and vegetable growing group based in Kralova pri Senci in western Slovakia. The companys core business segment is cultivation, storage, packing and distribution of potatoes, onions, carrots, parsley root, cabbage, garlic and a broad range of other field vegetables and crops such as seed corn, sugar beet, grain corn, wheat and peas. Through its own farms and affiliated entities the group manages several thousand hectares of arable land, using integrated and increasingly precision farming technologies, including advanced irrigation systems and modern machinery, to secure stable yields and product quality. Agromacaj supplies mainly retail chains and large buyers in Slovakia and neighbouring markets such as the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Austria, and exports key commodities like onions and potatoes within Europe. Key assets include extensive irrigated land bank, modern storage and packing facilities operated partly through its subsidiary Zeleninarska, s.r.o., long term contracts with retail chains and its reputation as one of the largest vegetable producers in Central Europe. Strategically the company focuses on being a leading reliable supplier of fresh vegetables with emphasis on integrated production, sustainability and efficient logistics, aiming to strengthen the role of Slovak vegetable production in the European supply map and to increase added value through sorting, packing and direct deliveries to retailers.
