Cloetta Slovakia s.r.o. is the Slovak production subsidiary of Cloetta, a leading confectionery group in Northern Europe. The Levice plant, located in the Levice – Gena industrial park, is one of the group's largest manufacturing sites and specializes in the production of sugar confectionery and pastilles. Its main business segment is the manufacture of chewy candies, extruded and moulded sweets and a wide range of hard and soft pastilles, including sugar-free variants based on sweeteners such as maltitol or xylitol and products made from fruit concentrates and other natural ingredients. The plant produces more than 20,000 tons of confectionery annually and supplies numerous Cloetta brands, including internationally recognized names such as Lakerol, Malaco, Red Band, Venco, Mynthon and Chewits, for distribution across Cloetta's core markets in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as for export to many other countries. Spanish-language market descriptions characterize Cloetta as a Swedish confectionery giant with products enjoyed in more than 50 or even 60 countries, and the Levice facility plays a key role in this global supply network by manufacturing a broad portfolio of branded candies and pastilles for multiple markets. Key assets include modern production technologies for extrusion, casting and coating, a large and skilled workforce in Levice, and a strong portfolio of long-established brands that are central to Cloetta's international strategy.
